What’s Included in Mullen’s Transparent Pricing Model?

Here are the current projected pricing ranges for independent living at Mullen Residences that help you plan, but final pricing may vary. Entrance fees start at $182,765 and increase depending on the size and location of the apartment you choose. However, you only need to deposit 10% of that fee to reserve your apartment. Monthly fees range from $3,580-$5,415 for a one bedroom. Apartments can be as big as a two bedroom with a den.

Entrance Fee:

  • Mullen Residences offers a fully refundable entrance fee.
  • Mullen Residences accepts a deposit of 10% of the total entrance fee to secure the apartment floor plan and the location of your choosing.
  • A one-time entrance fee is based on the apartment you choose and helps the community build a sustainable future by reducing financing costs.
  • The 10% deposit is fully refundable should you change your mind prior to the community opening. Upon move-in, the deposit is applied to your entrance fee.

Why Mullen Residences at the Highlands Financial Model Makes Sense

As a depositor, your entrance fee is part of what makes this vision possible. Initial Entrance Fees are put into escrow and used as collateral against financing. Once Mullen Residences is open, the remaining entrance fee balance will be used to pay down the debt, thereby reducing our overall debt obligation. This keeps prices lower for residents both at move-in and over time by avoiding costly lending fees or venture capital.

As a non-profit organization, Mullen Residences is guided by our mission to enrich the lives of older adults. We answer to an all-volunteer board of directors who share our commitment to resident well-being, rather than to shareholders focused on financial returns. This allows us to prioritize what matters most: supporting our residents in living fulfilling lives. The resources we generate are thoughtfully reinvested to strengthen our organization’s future, ensuring we can continue serving our community and expanding our ability to honor and celebrate aging for years to come.
